Clients can cancel or reschedule their existing appointment up to 48 hours before their appointment by using the link in their appointment confirmation email or text notification.Appointment cancellations result in a forfeited deposit.If it is within 48 hours of your appointment you will not be able to cancel or reschedule online. In this case, please text me to cancel your appointment.

To be notified of cancellations please utilize the waitlist feature on Square (and opt into the notifications) to be notified.To do this, while in the booking flow, select your preferred service(s) and tap the "Join The Waitlist" button at the bottom of the booking screen. Here, you can add your preferred date or date range, timing preferences, and any optional appointment notes, then click 'Join Waitlist'.I will automatically be notified of your request and you will automatically be notified if an opening becomes available that matches your request.

Apres Gel-X or full-cover gel extensions are pre-formed gel tips that cover your entire nail bed and adhere using gel. Because they don't just sit at the tip of your nails (like acrylic or hard gel extensions) they tend to have a stronger nail structure and are less prone to breaking. This type of gel extension comes in various sizes and shapes of that allow you to customize your mani to your liking. Refinery29 has A Great Article that answers just about any questions you may have about the Gel X system!Hand sculpted gel extensions are built on a nail form (sticker) that sits under your natural nail during the sculpting process. We do not offer this on our online booking menu and you will need to text me directly to book this service.Gel X is great for one-off manicures that require length, hand sculpted is better if you want to grow out your natural nails and have long nails for more than a few manicures.You can find more information on extensions including pricing on our Services page.

There is free, unmetered public on-street parking out front on Bishop St and on State St. Please adhere to posted signs regarding zone 3 parking restrictions (further down Bishop St!)Please do not park in the lot next to the building as that is reserved for building residents, not our customers.For those who don't enjoy parallel parking, there is a paid lot on State St at the intersection of East St.

I accept payment via most major credit/debit cards using my online booking platform. I do not accept cash, venmo, or other app-based payment methods.
Nails chipping or breaking shortly after your appointment are rare and become increasingly possible the longer you go between appointments.If your nail chips, breaks, smudges, or needs repair within 48 hours of your appointment—text me to book a complimentary nail fix.If your nail chips or is lifting in-between appointments and you'd like to know if you should move your next appointment to a sooner date, text me a photo and I'll let you know what I suggest!

How long your manicure lasts depends on the health of the natural nails prior to the appointment and a client's aftercare after the appointment. We have some clients who last 2 weeks and some who have lasted 6-8 weeks!Nails are jewels—not tools! We have some suggestions for aftercare to keep your manicure lasting as long as possible. We suggest our clients book their next appointment in 3 weeks for best results.
We've seen too many clients come in with destroyed natural nails after having removals done at other salons. Because of this, we now offer gentle gel removal of work done at another salon.Please note, when you arrive to your appointment with work done at another salon, it is not always possible to tell what type of product you have on your nails at first sight. In some instances you may have hard gel (sometimes called "UV Gel" by other salons)—meaning the product will not soak off with acetone and must be filed off—or a specific type of acrylic product, methyl methacrylate (also known as MMA), that turns gummy and sticky when soaked in acetone and is extremely time-consuming to remove.If one of these products is discovered during the removal process, we will inform you and adjust our technique accordingly with a focus of retaining the health of your natural nail plate. In some instances, such as discovering you have hard gel, we may leave a thin layer of the product on your nail and work on top of it, allowing you to grow the product out over time as that is the safest way to remove the product without risking the integrity of your natural nails.
I do not. Great nails take time and the length of my appointments do not work well with offering walk-ins.
We have a passion for nail art and don't currently offer pedicures—if there is enough interest perhaps we will in the future!
I do not. I achieve the look of acrylic nail extensions without all the chemicals or smell by using Apres Nails Gel-X gel nail extensions or hand-sculpting soft gel extensions. You can find more information on our gel extension add on services on our Services page.
I do not. I achieve the same (or better!) longevity and structure using my russian manicure process.
